Mark Dawidziak

Mark has been the television critic at the Plain Dealer since 1999. Before joining the Cleveland newspaper, he spent 16 years at the Akron Beacon Journal as that newspaper’s television columnist, film critic and critic-at-large. His many books include two histories of beloved television characters, “The Columbo Phile: A Casebook” and “The Night Stalker Companion,” as well as the recently published “Everything I Need to Know I Learned in The Twilight Zone.” Also a recognized Mark Twain scholar, he is the author or editor of five Twain-centric books: “Mark My Words: Mark Twain on Writing,” “Horton Foote’s The Shape of the River: The Lost Teleplay About Mark Twain,” “Mark Twain in Ohio,” “Mark Twain’s Guide to Diet, Exercise, Beauty, Fashion, Investment, Romance, Health and Happiness” and “Mark Twain for Cat Lovers.” His work on the horror side of the street includes “The Bedside, Bathtub and Armchair Companion to Dracula” and the novel “Grave Secrets.” His most recent book is “Theodore Roosevelt for Nature Lovers.” In addition to writing about Mark Twain, he has portrayed the beloved American writer on stage in several states for almost 40 years.

Jill Burke

Jill is a country music performer who is on a mission to honor with her singing both seniors and our nation’s military, active and retired. Her hit single, “Unbreakable Hearts”, went to #1 on the International TOP 40 Country Chart in March 2015. Equally at home performing on the stage, at military and veteran events, or in venues such as health care facilities, Jill considers it a privilege to touch hearts with special message songs.

Andre Bernier

Andre is the author of “Christmas In Pilaf – The Journal”, “Christmas in Pilaf – Apple Pie” and “Christmas In Pilaf – Food For The Soul”. He is an Emmy-award winning television meteorologist in Cleveland, Ohio. He has been with FOX 8 for thirty years and can be see every weekday on FOX 8 News at 5 PM and 10PM.

Mike and Jan Olszewski

Mike is a veteran Cleveland radio and television personality and the curator and archivist for the Ohio Broadcast Archive and Museum. He also teaches media and communications classes at Cleveland State University, Kent State University, the University of Akron, and Notre Dame College. Mike is the author of “WIXY 1260: Pixies, Six-Packs and Superman” and “Radio Daze” (Kent State University Press). Jan is a long time travel industry professional and photographer whose work has appeared in pop culture magazines including Filmfax, Outre and others. Janice is co-author with Mike Olszewski of “Cleveland TV Tales I & II” (Gray & Company).

Neil Zucher

Neil is an award-winning journalist, reporter, and author, has logged more than one million miles on Ohio’s roads over 35 years as the original host of  the “One Tank Trips” travel report, which aired on Fox8 Television in Cleveland and has since been imitated in hundreds of other television markets throughout the US. Neil has written seven books about Ohio, including “Ohio Oddities” and “Strange Tales from Ohio.” His most recent book, “The Best of One Tank Trips” was published in late 2016.

Bob Adamov

Bob is an award-winning Ohio mystery adventure author whose stories are based in the Lake Erie South Bass Island resort village of Put-in-Bay. His ten novels follow the adventures of Washington Post investigative reporter, Emerson Moore. His work has won awards at the New York Book festival, Hollywood Book Festival, London Book Festival, Great Midwest Book Festival, Florida Book Festival, and the Indie Awards. His most recent book, “Golden Torpedo,” was published in July 2017.
